Patient education is important at Lane #Chiropractic. Always feel free to ask for more info if you've heard a term used with which you are unfamiliar. #Subluxation is one that is used often in both chiropractic and by other medical specialists. Check out our post for more info on the subject. #chiropracticworks #Silverdale #Kitsap

Is #chiropractic care a one and done type of treatment? Or should it be a long term relationship that can help you to not only decrease your pain, but also improve your ability to handle such issues in the future? http://buff.ly/2jWLtUD #chiropracticworks

Ran into this question and wanted to share.

Question: Does chiropractic treatment require a referral from an MD?

Answer: Typically you don't require a referral to see a doctor of chiropractic (DC). Some health plans however may have specific referral requirements. If you are unsure, you can contact your employer’s human resources department or the insurance plan itself and find out if a referral is needed. We have found though that most plans allow you to just call and schedule an appointment.
