First off expect to wait at least 30 mins if your not there before 5.30. The food is amazing one of my favourite sushi restaurants. Personally its worth the wait. Im usually very basic and get gyoza and chicken teriyaki. But this place in toshi i try to order as much as possible. Everytime ive gone. The quality of the food is always good and always consistent. Ive eaten the assorted sashimi. Sockeye salmon(my absolute favourite.) I went outside my comfort zone and ordered the baked eggplant. That was also equally amazing. Occasionally they have real crab for the california rolls and that makes it the absolute best place to get california rolls. The gyoza isn't pork like other places. They only have seafood and veggie gyoza but i recommend you try both( there is an option to get half and half.) The restaurant in itself is small. But i definitely recommend it. The service is quick and the servers are friendly and can help you with any concerns or questions.

The food is good but I've had better in Vancouver. The sushi rice is too loose and the seaweed doesn't taste toasted. The chicken wings were good as was the tofu. The sweet potato tempura wasn't over battered. The spicy salmon roll seemed like canned salmon. Service is mediocre... Not terrible but not great. I expected more from a place with a 60 min wait.

One of the best Japanese Restaurant I have stepped foot into in Vancouver! Make sure that your entire party is there or not you will not be seated. The food was excellent, from their sashimi to their Itamemono. The seafood is really fresh and tasty. The deep fried squid was done just right. One of the highlights was the Oyster Motoyaki. Which is one of my favourite. Make sure to try the tuna tataki. Its one of the best I've had in Vancouver. the only disappointing items I had was the box sushi, there were several reviewers that mentioned it was sometime to try, and I'd say you can skip it after you had it once. I found the sushi to lack flavour and the lemon to be overpowering. But its definitely one of the prettiest sushi I've seen. Price wise, its comparable and some of the items were definitely good value, like the tuna tataki and sashimi. Place is very small and cozy, so expect to wait if you don't get a table at 5pm. Hours of operations are Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm-9:45pm Overall experience: Thumb's up.

Guatanteed thirty minute wait time. Place is phenomenal quality for its price. Will recommend a visit at least. Not sure I have the patience to do that more than once a year.

Great selection of fresh sushi at very reasonable prices! The only downside was waiting 30 mins for our table.

This restaurant used to have amazing value for money, but lately things seem to have gotten smaller. I ordered a tuna tattaki a week ago, and compared to what I got in September 2012, it looked tiny. For a moment I thought I was seeing things, or it was further away than usual (as I sat beside it), but NOPE, not only was the portion smaller, but they went conservative on the sauce and green onion. The food quality is still excellent and made on order, but for the price I'm paying, it doesn't feel like its worth the one hour wait anymore.
