The best lunches I've ever had, never had dinner there because probably can't afford it. But had many delicious lunches and their creme brullee which is awesome. The owner is very nice and friendly.

Cocktails served in from a shaker in generous proportion. My lovely young trophy wife liked the Ceasar salad with shavings of Asiago, even if the lettuce was old and dry. My appetizer was a thimble of gazpacho tricked out with lime -- very nice, but hardly worth the $40 for the prix fixe menu. My lovely young trophy wife was disappointed enough with the 'home-made ravioli stuffed with spinach and [some] cheese in a mushroom sauce. ' Five ravioli the size of a movie ticket for this main course brought them to $5 each: flat, barely 'stuffed,' and washed out of flavor by balsamic vinegar. Duck breast with quinoa and water cress for my main course was fabulous, medium-rare, and generous. Trophy wife skipped dessert, but I got a choice with prix fixe and chose crème brulée, which was very nice with slices of half a strawberry and mint and, alas, again served in thimble. Situated in an upscale shopping center outside Kennett Square, the place is noisy and the tables are sticky with old dirt. All-in-all, we won't return.

this is a magical and fabulous restaurant in the middle of the Pennsylvania countryside. As good as anything up in Boston that I've seen! Make it a point to get here.

I used to visit here frequently. Knew going in the portions were small and the prices were on the outter edge of reasonable. Then - took a party of 6 and dropped $400. A couple portions were particularly small, so, I left a comment along with my name and phone number, expecting a professional response. Crickets. So, they lost a long-time customer. Clearly business is so good they can afford to lose groups who are there for more than the pizzas. There are many more local establishments with far better customer service and a better value proposition.

I hired Sovana Bistro to cater a big event at Scott Honda (150+ people) and they were amazing. Abby helped me to customize a wonderful menu for our party and on the day of the event she and her team arrived early, set up their beautiful spread and our customers dug in. I was getting compliments all night long. Their staff was friendly, helpful and they were looking at their watches waiting to get off the clock. They even wrapped up and stored all of the left overs! I don't know what else to say except that if you want to wow people with great food and awesome service then give Sovana Bistro a shot! You will no be disappointed!

great food. i can't say enough about the flavors at this chester county spot. i'd go back all the time if it weren't so far away. from the locally sourced ingredients to the terrific presentations, this meal knocked my socks off and then some. if only i'd saved room for dessert.
