We're thrilled to introduce you to our very own Warrior Princess, Xena.

Xena was found wandering the streets without her natural defences, as she is declawed, and taken into a kill-shelter. There she was a spitfire showing everyone her displeasure at being confined.

She's approximately 2-years-old, declawed and believed to be a Bengal mix. Whether due to stress, over grooming or improper nutrition she has suffered some fur loss. Since escaping the mean streets her fur has begun to grow back. She is healthy, spayed, active and affectionate.

Her foster Mom says she's cuddly and likes to hang around her especially at night. She's a curious, young kitty who loves to explore.

Due to her drama queen temperament, we are looking for a home with no other cats. Sorry, no plucky sidekick for this Warrior Princess.

Please note she is in Foster and will remain there until she is adopted.

For information on the adoption process or details on adopting Xena please email or visit

We are currently accepting on-line applications for Cory. We recommend you come to visit him prior to submitting an application as this is the first step in the adoption process. Visiting hours are 10:30-11:00 and 2:00-4:00 or by appointment after hours by emailing

Meet Cory, a 3 year old Malamute Husky mix that could be mistaken for a polar bear! Cory is a friendly, affectionate guy that sometimes thinks he's a lap dog. He loves to be close to people and prefers not to be left alone for long. This fella is playful and happy - he loves to go for walks or play with his stuffy toys. Cory walks well on a lead but he is a big guy and will go after squirrels. He gets along well with most other dogs, and loves to go for car rides. He is not suited for a home with cats. Otherwise, Cory is healthy, neutered and up to date on his shots.

Cory requires a human that is experienced with large breed dogs. He likes to be outside so a home with a fenced in yard is a must. NO cats or other small animals. No children under 12. Please be advised that we will only process applications that meet the criteria we are looking for.

Having a blanket to snuggle can make a difference in a shelter dog’s life. Blankets provide comfort and a sense of security, which helps a dog feel their best. Do you know a shelter whose dogs (and cats!) could use some big, fleecy blankets?
Nominate them here:
A very special thanks to the Etobicoke Humane Society for helping make this video possible.

Meet Hazel. She's a stunning 5 year-old smokey grey kitty. She's very loving, friendly and enjoys receiving lots of attention from her human. She was surrendered to us because she did not get along well with the children in the household. She needs a furrever home where she can be the apple of someone's eye. Hazel is in a foster home right now.
To make an appointment to meet Hazel or for more information please email: or fill out our easy online cat adoption form at:

Atticus is a doll. He's sweet, affectionate and so ready for his forever home.
He is a Boxer/Shepherd mix who is still technically a puppy. Atticus has some food allergies but with the right food and care he's doing well. He'll require some training as all dogs do at this age.
If you're that special person who knows that Atticus is right for them please contact and visit for more information on Atticus.
