MARC SCORCA is the President and CEO of OPERA America. He has been with OPERA America since 1990, during which time membership has grown from 120 opera companies to nearly 2,500 organizations and individuals. During his tenure, OPERA America has administered two landmark funding initiatives in support of the development of North American operas and opera audiences and launched an endowment effort to create a fund to support new works and audience development. He is currently a member of the US delegation to UNESCO, and serves as an officer of the board of the Performing Arts Alliance and the Curtis Institute of Music, as well as on the Music Advisory Board of Hunter College.

DAVID DEVAN is General Director of Opera Philadelphia. He has been with the company since January 2006 when he was first appointed as a managing director to oversee all of the income-generating departments, as well as board development and community programs. In 2009, he was appointed Executive Director before assuming his current leadership role. Key achievements include the establishment of the Aurora Series for Chamber Opera and the establishment of the nation's first ever collaborative Composer In Residence Program with New York partners Gotham Chamber Opera and Music-Theatre Group. Under his leadership, Opera Philadelphia has co-commissioned important new works by composer-librettist teams such as Nico Muhly and Stephen Karam, Theodore Morrison and John Cox and Jennifer Higdon and Gene Scheer. Opera Philadelphia has achieved a balanced financial position and received a major grant in 2011 from The Kresge Foundation to help fund institutional capitalization.

NICOLAS REVELES is currently the Geisel Director of Education and Outreach for San Diego Opera and is the host of OperaTalk with Nick Reveles on UCSD-TV, as well as a weekly video podcast at sdopera.com. As a pianist, Reveles spent five seasons as the pianist and music director for Mikhail Baryshnikov and the White Oak Dance Project, touring the U.S., Canada, Europe, South America and the Middle East. As a composer, he has had three operas produced, The Sleeping Beauty and Rumpelstiltskin for the San Diego Opera Ensemble, and Sextet for Diversionary Theatre. Reveles is widely known throughout Southern California as a lecturer in opera, introducing countless numbers of people to this lively art form. He holds a DMA in Piano Performance from the Manhattan School of Music.
