成龍 Jackie Chan reminds us that when you buy #rhino horn "You are paying for guns, bullets, arrows, chainsaws, axes and machetes to hack off the face of the rhino, and you are paying for the life of a beautiful creature." #endangeredspecies

If you're in the US you can meet lemurs in person at the +Duke Lemur Center !

WWF-Canon Pic of the Week: Sifaka, Madagascar

Separated from the African continent for millions of years, Madagascar's plants and animals have evolved like nowhere else in the world.

Topping the list of rare and exotic species are the gorgeous lemurs!

Lemurs vary greatly in size, appearance and behaviour. This is the sifaka, known as the "dancing" lemur because of its unusual ballet-like movement when sashaying across open areas.

As diverse as they are though, lemurs have one thing in common - they are all in some way in danger of becoming extinct.

This years Holiday Guide is a bit different because you aren't going to find anything that you can wrap or that can be opened. Instead you will find my favourite activities and classes that you could opt to give instead of a traditional gift. Outside of stocking stuffers I will exclusively be ...

Whales and tankers don’t mix!

Did you know that whales rely on sound as their primary sense? Enbridge's proposed Northern Gateway Pipeline would bring as many as 220 tankers a year to the Great Bear coast of Canada, creating noise pollution for recovering populations of humpback whales.

This is no place for oil tankers http://bit.ly/17E4H4d
