This Kestrel chick was spotted standing outside his nest ready to fledge and as we filmed him he expelled a pellet from his beak. Pellets contain indigestible parts of a kestrel's meal including bones from small rodents they've been fed.

Spring in Cornwall. Spring has arrived in Cornwall. The fields are full of adorable lambs and the birds are singing and starting to build their nests.
This video was made during the last few days on a trip to The Roseland, an area of Cornwall on the south coast found between Falmouth and Mevagissey. The Roseland contains the parishes of Ruan, Veryan, Cuby, Philleigh, St Just in Roseland, St Gerrans and St Anthony in Roseland.
With Easter just around the corner, it's time to get out and enjoy all the lovely sights that Cornwall has to offer.

Cornwall has spectacular Winter storms but just six days after Storm Imogen, this was the view on the cliffs between Caerthillian Cove and Lizard Point - sunshine, blue sky, fluffy white clouds and these lovely Shetland ponies grazing the clifftops to keep the grass short for Choughs who rely on insects for their diet.

If you're walking with your dog, please keep them under control for the safety of the ponies and the welfare of your four-legged friend.
