Next week UNICEF launches its 2012 annual report focusing on the state of children's rights today, this year with a focus on life in urban areas. But what exactly are those rights we all work to to protect?

In 1998, UNICEF asked directors around the world to make a 30-second animated short on a particular CRC right to help bring children's rights to life in a creative and fun way.

Since then, over 70 studios around the world have created cartoons which have been seen by over 1 billion people. Check them out!
