Free! Great overall history of Denmark. Nice cafe. Friendly staff. Temp exhibits were very good when we visited.

Really beautiful museum: the expositions are very well organized and it will take more than one afternoon to see everything (if you have the time, don't miss a single part of it!).

Excellent collection of Danish artifacts with an abundance of detailed explanation. Really interesting museum with a smart layout. You could spend 1 hour here if you literally just glance in each room or you could easily spend 5 hours if you read everything.

Very good museum to visit. You sort of see the ancestors of Denmark and sort of the Scandinavian region. That is the first floor, very well done. When I went to the 2nd floor the Earth something exhibit - it was fascinating, also the Greenland part of it , very, very sad and truthful.

Choose this museum if you only have time for one. It's free and has the whole history and some extra exhibitions. The children's museum is totally awesome. Every time it's a rainy day and I don't know what to do I go here.

Brilliant. Free museum with an amazing history of Denmark from the pre-historic period onwards as well as smaller exhibits on more recent Danish history and a middle-eastern range of artifacts. Fantastically curated in both Danish and English, definitely worth a visit.

Very nice place, you can just walk in for a day or a couple of hours if you want (free entrance), take a look around (it would take DAYS to see everything!), have a look in the very nice shop and finish in the cafe which is very nice to, though expensive. For all ages, lots of things for children as well without seeming to "educational", - they won't be bored :-)
