Thanks for commenting, Wayne! Even if you're getting a FICO score via your credit card issuer or another source, that number may not be what a lender sees when they pull your credit. There are a lot of other factors that we get into in the article about why that occurs. You're absolutely right -- it's misleading for consumers.
