An overwhelming number of people have mentioned about the staff being unfriendly at this location and I got to see it first hand on a recent visit. Yes, the chef is from Latin America, but he was just as good, if not better than the Japanese chefs at other Hibachi locations. He was a gentle person and made everyone on the table laugh with some new antics. However, the behaviour of the Chinese/Oriental staff was anything but gentle. We had one of the waiters who was also from Latin America trying to offer some good suggestions and one of the Chinese waiters came and told him that if he gives concessions he would have to pay for it !!! I was completely stunned. We asked to speak with the Owner, but he was too busy doing something and was not ready to support his spanish speaking staff. The food was fine, some complained that it was too salty, but overall it was OK. But whatever credit the place may have earned on account of the food was lost in the dismal and often rude uncaring attitude of the Oriental staff and their indifference to those who were not oriental. Suggestion - Don't waste your groupon money on this place, there are better places where you don't get to see waiters insulting other waiters trying to help customers.

The Food was horrible!! We were there last night, my steak was cooked wrong. My friend fish was dried out because it was cooked to long. The sauces were so water down it was almost disgusting to eat. The only thing that was good was the drinks. Never again! Please go to Tombo Hibachi Sushi & Tiki Lounge in Fairfield, the food is amazing!!! You get more for your money!

Flip a coin before you decide to eat here. The Concierge at the Hilton recommended this place. We are big Habachi fans and the food was inedible. I read the reviews before going to this place and the only explanation I could come up with is that some of the chefs are outstanding while others are horrible. It appears our chef was the later. First of all, the dipping sauce they gave us for the seafood and steak was watery and did not taste good (it was some sort of imitation). The chef appeared to be very inexperienced and his "show" left much to be desired. The fried rice was oily and poorly seasoned (I had to ask for soy sauce and still could not eat it). The vegetables were okay but my fillet Mignon was grainy. Then the chef made noodles for us as well. The noodles were greasy and salty and worst than everything else. (Note- this place does not charge for fried rice and noodles like most places do). I could not eat my food and left the plate on the table. I asked for the manager who came over and told me there is nothing wrong with my food and that is how Habachi is suppose to taste. He refused to replace my food or remove it from my bill. Ultimately we paid $55 for 2 meals (one was not touched and the other was half eaten).
