Kids had a great time. Easy to walk zoo with great access to the animals. Pandas were cute but they are in a really small enclosure and were a bit stir crazy... LOTS of school groups were there so it was really really busy and impossible to get a drink/food/etc

Oh how I miss Willie B. But the new guys are just as cool. Fun place to see animals, reptiles, amphibians and mammals of all kinds. Watch them play, interact with humans and survive. Wear good comfortable shoes that are ok get dirty, lots of walking and some dirt paths.

Stopped on our way to Disney from Chicago in July 2013. This was a highlight on our trip, The zoo is very clean, and the animal's habitats are very nice and you don't feel sorry for them. The zoo has a nice theme and layed out very well. Bathrooms are very clean, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We went to see the pandas and were happy to see them in their indoor play room. Ignorance on my part that Panda don't like heat and are kept inside during the warm summer months. Price was fair to get in and food and drinks was also on par, actually less expensive than Chicago's Brookfield zoo. I would recommend this to anyone who is considering stopping or lives in the Atlanta area.
