Hi all! Good to see many of you at SACES. Here is the link for the EBSC conference in San Diego in March. The call for proposals is past but I highly encourage you to attend. It's quite different from ASCA: small, more intimate, with a lot of great connecting between the practitioner and counselor ed sides of the field. The research day will be Sunday, March 12th at no additional charge. Once there is more information, I'll come back and share it with you here.

Hi all, I'm looking for great syllabi/texts/resources on two topics for courses I haven't taught in a while/are new to me. CRISIS and SPECIAL ED for school counselors. Please share anything you have. Thanks!

I'm thrilled to interact with two graduate school counseling classes at once thanks to technology! Let's chat about technology, innovation and school counseling. This hangout will be broadcast LIVE.

Thanks for allowing me to be a part of the group even though I'm not in the Southern region. I wanted to put an invitation out during the call but will do it here since I couldn't make it. I have a manuscript that I'm looking for a co-author on. It has already come back as a revise and submit with PSC (practitioner research) and is, by my estimate, about 85% done. However, I'm stuck and needs some fresh eyes on it. The article is about 4 separate school counselors' action research projects in their schools (elementary and middle). The structure of it is a bit unusual and needs some thinking outside the box. If you are interested in data, action research and/or elementary or middle school, this might be for you. I'm eager to wrap it up in the next few months and resubmit it. Please email me at emason5@depaul if you are interested in hearing more. Thanks!
