eBayers everywhere are wailing and gnashing their teeth!

No more $150, $210, or more: while you wait for the Director's Cut, you can get the whole of the original Enemy Within campaign for (just) under 50 bucks, the 1st ed rulebook for $9.99, Marienburg for $9.99, and character sheets for free. I'm pretty sure those are lower than the cover prices on their original release!

They are all the Hogshead versions, which means that Power Behind the Throne includes Carrion up the Reik.

A great resource for gaming maps, especially from the Early Modern Period onwards.

Ten Years of D101 Games, a thank you to our customers
Its been ten years since D101 Games' first release, the first issue of Hearts in Glorantha. After that 45 releases followed, which have been possible because of our valued customers at some point. If you have ever purchased anything, know that you have contributed towards making what D101 Games is today, and I am truly grateful. You've allowed me and the authors and artists who have worked for D101 Games to be innovative and try new things, and repeatedly pull rabbits out of the creative void.

So not only is D101 Games taking part in DriveThruRpg.com's Christmas in July sale which means 25% off all our pdfs but also I've made available until the end of this month these out of print items which were high points of the last ten years:

The Book of Glorious Joy, which is Jamie Revell's take on the Gloranthan West.

OpenQuest 2 Deluxe - the previous version with the gorgeous wrap-around Dragon cover.

Worlds of Wordplay - A straightforward D6 dice pool narrative system with four settings included.

All available in pdf and print bundles until the end of the month, and then they are gone!!

Thank you once again.

When I think of PC competency in games other than D&D, I tend to think in terms of BECM level bands. Well, actually just BE level bands. So WFRP1e PCs start at the equivalent of lvl 2-3. They're much more robust than lvl 1 characters, and a good starting career and good rolls might have them as high as lvl 4. However, they never really get above lvl 5 or 6. Advanced Fighting Fantasy PCs I have pegged as starting as equivalent to low Expert levels, say 4-6, and depending on how you hand out XP, can quickly get to Companion set levels of competence.

I just got the softback of Barbarians of Lemuria: Mythic Edition. Where would you peg starting BoL characters?
