🐦 Now THAT’S a birdcage! Almost too pretty to house a bird, this would make an excellent conversation-starting piece for your home. Stop by our store on Persimmon St. near #OldTownBluffton.

👰 Chinese Stacking Wedding Basket. Clever as always, Chinese artisans came up with this design for the bride to carry all her necessaries to the honeymoon. Three compartments in one easy-to-schlep item. Great for storage in a beautiful container!

🚢 Waiting for your ship to come in? These navigation lights might help. 360 degree Fresnel lenses are the same as the ones used in old lighthouses.

Meet Phema Louise Corning as she was when she lived in Philadelphia around 1862. This painting was restored in Richmond, VA about 20 years ago, and although the frame is not original, it’s a close representation of the period.

Her genealogy indicates that young Phema was a descendant of Samuel Corning who emigrated from England to America around 1630, settling in Beverly, Massachusetts in 1641.

Her family tree also includes the famous New York Corning family headed by Erastus Corning, Mayor of Albany, NY, investor in the New York Central Railroad, U.S. Congressman and namesake of the city of Corning, New York.

The overall size Of the piece with frame is 29 5/8" x 34 5/8"

🕯️ She was not the only thing all aglow at the table for two. The white porcelain candelabra’s roses spoke of sunny days and growing old together. Bring home some romance for $40
