What's not to like about this photograph.

Thanks to the Daily mail.
Caroline, Darcy, Alexis and Elisha Clark are about to celebrate their first birthday after their parents Justin and Christine tried for children for nearly a decade.

Obvious what the problem is... That plug on the RIGHT is filthy! Needs a wipe with a damp cloth!! 8-)

4 K watts of solar power going on the roof. - The only way to get "free" energy, will at least it should be in 7 years once the original outlay is returned.

The most amazing thing about this to me is NOT that someone cut it in half, Not that it is so complicated BUT that someone designed this from scratch and then someone mad the first one..

That's what design and engineering is about, become designers and  engineers kids and really DO things.

What are your figures like? Try this numeracy test and see how you shape up as experts say poor maths is costing the economy £20bn a year
Daily Mail Online
Inability to cope with numbers results in lower wages, smaller company profits and reduced tax revenues for the Government, a charity warns today.

Physics 101 - Perpetual motion, free energy, magnetic motor, cracking water to provide enough Hydrogen to power a car - all of them can not work.

The basic laws of the universe we live in prevent this and no amount of wishing, conspiracy theories or belief will make them work.

As a really really simple example - IF I were to invent a fuel-less motor I would be amongst the richest people on the world a few weeks later - All developing countries would have free energy and poverty would be non-existent.

None of these people ever make a scrap of honest income from these examples.

About the closest we can get to free energy is solar power and even that won't last forever.

The oil companies are not interested in preventing future development they welcome it as they know their raw material is limited.

+Jerry Ly The list of possible results is infinitely long. Is there a direction in which you think this conversation should go?

Modern moralistic question:
If I take a photo of the screen of my HD TV do I then own that photograph - after all I took it - or is the image still owned by the TV company?

What if I clearly show it is a picture of my TV?

It's still theirs as it's a derivative work regardless of the situation.

I don't circle people without photographs, No posts, or who appear to be offering a service.
Introduction
Born Scunthorpe 1949 - Went to Scunthorpe Grammar school but didn't do any better than I needed to to join the RAF as an electronics engineer. Left 12 years later married. Moved into the computer world until 1995 when I decided to become a teacher, Ah all those career interviews where they said I wouldn't do any good! :-)

Gained a hons degree in Design and Technology and became a teacher. Elevated myself to head of department at Boston Grammar School but lost my sense of humor so retired at 60.

Now enjoying life to the full.

I make things, I take photographs, do a little painting and make jewellery.

I have 2 children and 4 grand children  (Enough Enough!)
Bragging rights
Hons degree - who said I couldn't do it!
