About time!  What a short sighted decision to stop training sailors to be sailors was.  If and or when we go to war with the Chinese don't put any money on satellite GPS working.  And, how can a Naval officer be called a sailor if he doesn't know how to use a sextant?  Finally, standing on the bridge wing on a clear night is an experience no one can explain to anyone who hasn't done it, and being able to decipher even a little of the riot that is the night sky makes everything else unimportant, really.

Kyle you have to read this.  It is a real break down of steps to address an issue I believe the typical mid grade officer cannot grasp.  Get this now and it will be important later.  Love you man

Taco bar the best. Slightly different Mexican menu and the service is exceptional.

I think the service is exceptional. John Stefanik has been my service rep for several years and I have complete confidence in him. When I call for service or with a question he is always helpful and supportive. I believe the cost at Cavalier is comparable although I haven't shopped around in a long while because I am pleased with the service here.

Spinach and tomato pizza and a shared antipasto salad. Doesn't get any better. Servers always the best. And, doggy bag was lunch. A little costly but worth it.

We spent the weekend, Friday through Sunday and it was the typical exceptional HIE experience. Of note was the Desk Clerk, Margie, who was on when we checked in and who helped me during our stay. She was pleasant, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. She certainly was an exceptional HIE representative. The young man who ran the breakfast room was also exceptional, interested in the guests, friendly and attentive, and he maintained the breakfast bar even with a high throughput. And the biscuits were the best I have had at HIE. I interfaced with several employees over the weekend and they were all personable and friendly, good job HIE. I really loved the two elevators unlike many HIE's, makes a huge difference in livability.

$11.95 all you can eat lunch more than worth it, but you have to go with 2 or 3 other sushi lovers so you can get different selections and pass it around. The Dragon roll was great! Will return.

Standard national franchise fare, Applebys, Outback, etc. Fish was dry and overpriced. I need to stick to Mom and Pop local restaurants.

Great informal, clean and friendly family restaurant. We had haddock and mahi with red potatoes and mixed veggies. The haddock was good, the blackened mahi was a little dry but very tasty. The veggies were great. The menu looks a little steep for dinner but they serve lunch portions all day so the cost drops and the lunch portion is more than ample. We didn't want doggie bags and the lunch portion allowed us to eat more than enough. Looking forward to our next visit.
