About time!  What a short sighted decision to stop training sailors to be sailors was.  If and or when we go to war with the Chinese don't put any money on satellite GPS working.  And, how can a Naval officer be called a sailor if he doesn't know how to use a sextant?  Finally, standing on the bridge wing on a clear night is an experience no one can explain to anyone who hasn't done it, and being able to decipher even a little of the riot that is the night sky makes everything else unimportant, really.

Kyle you have to read this.  It is a real break down of steps to address an issue I believe the typical mid grade officer cannot grasp.  Get this now and it will be important later.  Love you man

We spent the weekend, Friday through Sunday and it was the typical exceptional HIE experience. Of note was the Desk Clerk, Margie, who was on when we checked in and who helped me during our stay. She was pleasant, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. She certainly was an exceptional HIE representative. The young man who ran the breakfast room was also exceptional, interested in the guests, friendly and attentive, and he maintained the breakfast bar even with a high throughput. And the biscuits were the best I have had at HIE. I interfaced with several employees over the weekend and they were all personable and friendly, good job HIE. I really loved the two elevators unlike many HIE's, makes a huge difference in livability.

Great informal, clean and friendly family restaurant. We had haddock and mahi with red potatoes and mixed veggies. The haddock was good, the blackened mahi was a little dry but very tasty. The veggies were great. The menu looks a little steep for dinner but they serve lunch portions all day so the cost drops and the lunch portion is more than ample. We didn't want doggie bags and the lunch portion allowed us to eat more than enough. Looking forward to our next visit.

Good Mexican food, but, well, typical. I had the Camarones a la Diabla and it was hot as advertised. My wife had the Shrimp Chimichangas and she said they were excellent. The server was good and the cost was average. I would go to the Blue Agave again.

Really is a great smoked barbecue place, chicken, pork or brisket. We like to get the salad bar with a serving of your choice of meat. We get pulled pork and eat it as a sandwich with cole slaw from the salad bar. They have a fairly new appetizer called "Redneck Eggrolls" which are great and its fun to order them.

We split a 5 buck lunch pizza. Hot and greasy and sinful and great! The young lady behind the counter was personable frendly and funny. But, we had two diet sodas to wash it down.
