I thought that removing the grips and saving them to put my heated grips couldn't be that difficult. I used some windex (tried using a compressor like in a youtube video) and nothing would get the grip off. I eventually took an blade to it and...it was literally welded on with glue. The throttle side came of super easy, could have saved that one : / and trying to figure out where I'm going to mount and cover this heat controller....http://i1032.photobucket.com/albums/a406/martyman5000/IMG_0863_zpsc4c5baed.jpg
I rode my 2000 KLR for a year and half, did a long trip on it and as much as I like it, I dislike the things its missing. Great reliable bike, just too tall, heavy for trails...too light and tall for highway. I have it for sale bought an older BMW K100.
I think you've done amazing. You've had so many friends and fun times making video's. I tried and tried to be a musician and failed so you've already succeeded. I say just work with what you have and do it well like you have so far...your beer festival is on my top list of stuff I will attend no matter what.
This dealership has a 2006 Toyota Tacoma for sale. The salesman on the phone has told me that it was in a minor accident. I requested that I take it a block down to the local Toyota dealership to have it checked and he refused to let me do that. DON'T buy from this dealership!
