I went here with a few friends to get dinner last week. It's conveniently located in Murphy St, in downtown Sunnyvale. They serve varieties of mediterranean food in an upscale setting (not really that fancy though). A few of their menu items are quite pricey, but I've tried several items from the menu and I can assure you it's worth the price of admission. The server was friendly and knowledgeable when answering our questions about the menu. The setting and ambiance itself is very nice and would be perfect to bring someone on a date. Definitely recommended!

The beriani was fantastic! The flat bread and babaghanouge was very good. The falafel was too good. The beriani was a fantastic mix of tender cubes of beef, potatoes, raisins, garbanzo beans, aged yogurt. The raisins made me hesitate but, as my friend says, "they totally work in this dish". It was really great. This dish was also very rich so be careful.

Tip: DishDash has gradually expanded to three locations, but the original in Sunnyvale's downtown remains as busy as ever. Definitely try to arrive near opening hour for both lunch and dinner and definitely order at least one of the rice entrees with yogurt based sauce (Mansaf or Beriani Dajaj).

The quality of service and food has gone down. The hummus was watery and we had to send it back. The server even agreed. Also, the pita bread was soggy too. The chicken shawarma salad is great but the place is so busy it takes them forever to bring anything out.

Best Mediterranean food. I love their appetizer the best and I am usually too full before getting the entree. Entrees are really too big for me to finish. Usually have to take a doggy bag. Everything there is good. You can't go wrong with any.

I have been there a few times with coworkers. Their food is good but it's always packed and the wait time is long.

This place is delicious. If you are hesitant about coming here because you can't pronounce the names of any of the dishes, let me put your mind at ease and recommend three dishes you can just point at for the waiter. First, M’sakhan is so good! It's crunchy, meaty and creamy in all the right proportions. Second, Mansaf is fantastic if you love lamb or try the Beriani if beef is more your style. Mansaf and Beriani come with basmati rice or freekeh, both are delicious. These are not family style dishes, but hopefully you go with people who will share a bite or two because each one is so tasty and unique. This restaurant is classy, does accept limited reservations and does have indoor and outdoor seating. Go already!

I love this joint. Easily the best dining option in all of Sunnyvale. It's crowded constantly for good reason. I still want to try a number of things on the menu, but everything I've had has been really great (namely the bamieh with lamb cubes, lamb kebabs, and chicken shawarma salad).
