Just back from a 12 day Namibia North tour. Great to see the Epupa Falls and my Himba family again. The Jeep took some pounding on the road over the Joubert Pass to Fort Sesfontein but everything went fine after all. Etosha Park was once again fantastic for wildlife sightings including Rhino, Elephant, a Cheetah mother with three babies, a lonely male lion and the usual antelope species. Waterberg Plateau, our final destination, was equally impressive with a huge variety of bird life and lots of Warthogs and Damara Dik Diks. My guests, a nice couple from Germany, thoroughly enjoyed the trip. It was also good to see my old friend Hubert Herzog again at his fantastic new lodge in the Erongo Mountains.
