Kindergarteners had a great day for a big run at their annual Jog-a-thon Fundraiser. They were not only excited to run, but also delighted to have their parents as their audience. A successful and fun-filled event for all!

Gung Hay Fat Choy! MCH Kindergarteners brought the Dragon to life to lead the parade celebrating Asian Lunar New Year, 4714 Year of the Monkey. Elementary children followed to light the way and make lots of noise! Children and parents then enjoyed a Chinese Luncheon to cap off an exciting and very fun late winter/early spring day.

Second and Thirds got the creative thrill of constructing their own Gingerbread Houses as part of Holiday Fun before Winter Break, thanks to the generosity, orchestration,  and most helpful direction of Kristin Rodriguez, mother of 2nd Year Gabriel. Everyone was to bring a theme they had thought of for their particular house. From tentative beginnings, to emerging masterpieces, and finally to very satisfied artists, an enchanting creation was bagged up ready to take home, along with a heart full of delightful memories.

Halloween at MCH Elementary means time for all the great people who came before us, throughout the centuries, to come once again for a visit. This also marked our 20th Annual Historical Halloween Parade!

1st-3rds spent an awesome autumn day at Joan's Pumpkin Farm in Livermore. There was not only time for pumpkins and hay bales, but also feeding some of the farm animals, learning about farm life 100 years ago, and making our way through the winding corn maze. What better way to spend a day?

1st Grade spent a Spring day at Ardenwood Farm to learn about farm animals and life on a farm 100 years ago. In the process, Laura Ingalls Wilder's book "Little House in the Big Woods" became all the more real to them.
