The Queens Building, Leicester. An excellent example of passive stack ventilation and natural daylight.

It includes an auditorium which seats 168 people and relies on high thermal mass, geometry and passive stack ventilation to provide passive cooling.

The Chemistry Building for Loughborough Endowed Schools by Stephen George and Partners, Leicester. The roof of the Chemistry building is designed as a thin plane overhanging the walls. A brise-soleil projects over part of the courtyard, protecting the building from solar gain and providing a virtual roof to the outdoor space of the quadrangle
