Peruvian Ceviche was great! Rich flavors and friendly service. Tried causa de cangrejo, trucha encebollada and ceviche with pasion fruit sauce.. Must try if you enjoy Peruvian!

The food and drinks were very good, however, the overall experience was disappointing. My partner and I got there early (6PM) on Friday and there were plenty of open tables. We hoped to have a nice meal, talk and relax to begin the weekend. Instead, we felt continually hurried by the servers, who were attentive, but seemed to rush us. Twice, a server attempted to remove our plates while we were still eating and there was food on the plates! She did not even ask either one of us if we were finished. It seemed that if we stopped eating just to talk, a server would assume we were finished and so the meal was not relaxing. The noise level was fairly high, which also made conversation difficult. Overall, the dinner was fast-paced, pricey and not enjoyable.

I am in love with this restaurant. It gets pretty crowded in the evenings but I've found that you can login to OpenTable and almost always find an open table right then. Make sure to order the ceviche (i like the quattro). For dinner, I prefer to order a bunch of ceviche and appetizers for the table to share. Brunch is fantastic, I highly recoimmend the salmon eggs benedict. If you aren't in the mood for a mimosa, try one of their fancy mojitos or the pisco sour is always a winner.

I like the ambiance and the ceviche. Fresh pisco sour and great aji de gallina. Shame they dont have "suspiro limeño" anymore... The service could be quite sloppy when crowded and that's the reason why I'm giving it a poor... One doesn't pay +$40 for a service like that.

I normally go to the Fresca in West Portal, but met a friend here after work. The nice thing is that the food is consistent across both locations - yummy. This location is larger, which is sort of nice because the WP location is tight seating. So we enjoyed cocktails, dinner and gossiping without feeling like we were sharing our conversation with the people next to us.

This is a very casual peruvian restaurant, I had a delicious salad topped with very tender and juicy beef. All their ceviches are fresh and flavorful. The service can be slow sometimes though.

The food here is decent. It's over-priced by a bit. All about the ceviche. The wait staff generally rocks. I've had fantastic bar experiences here, but not lately. Think they lost their best bartender talent from the Noe location. Most recently, the bartender didn't know how to make a moscow mule (which is not a horribly difficult drink) and when we told her how, she said we should order something else. They were out of Tanqueray as well. This was a Sat. night when most bars should be at their A-team best. I ordered a glass of Castle Rock pinot noir, which was on the menu by the glass. She swapped in one that was $2 more per glass. I think she poured half of one kind of wine and half of another? It was gross. Syrupy. Hadn't breathed. She wiped down the bar and slopped the dish rag into my hand, without saying excuse me. I know everyone has a bad night. But it's been lame at the bar here for months. Won't be coming back here for drinks-only, unless they get some new talent. In other news: Noe Valley needs a great bar that makes cocktails decently. The other bars in that area are just pubs.
