Go hang out. It's therapeutic.

Everything you need to know about the history of hammocks!
Go to any community park, college campus, or seashell sprinkled shoreline, and you will most definitely find a seemingly carefree, leisured, shade protected, soul softly swinging between two trees in a intricately woven, or b...

Have you tried an asymmetric hammock yet? My Hennessy is more comfy than my ENO. I even sleep kind of on my stomach in it at times. Well... kind of half sideways/half stomach. Whatever the position, I like it in the Hennessy.

I imagine a bridged hammock would be the most comfortable though. That's why the Ridgerunner will be my next. Plus, I can let someone else that may come along on a hang to try it out too.

So the CIA broke into the computers of the Senate committee investigating the CIA for torturing people, then lied about it.

It's disturbing to think that for all our complaints about the unconstitutional and unethical behavior by the NSA, the CIA has always been there being an order of magnitude or three worse -- providing even more evidence we have an intelligence system which is badly out of control, and we have a governmental structure that allows individuals in power to utterly escape consequence.

The people who broke into Senate computers should go to jail; I suggest we apply the computer crime laws we love to slam hackers with at maximum force.
An internal CIA investigation confirmed allegations that agency personnel improperly intruded into a protected database used by Senate Intelligence Committee staff to compile a scathing report on the agency’s detention and interrogation program, prompting bipartisan outrage and at least two calls for spy chief John Brennan to resign.

Set adrift in the multiverse
By the whims of fate
In thrall to the demiurge
We all await escape

Darkness and light entwine
Everything is all the time
All around you points align
Everything is all the time

From beyond the waveform
Reaching the wall
Giving birth to a universe
Mother of all

Living information
Transverging space-time
Flowing down from the overworld
Into the mind of mankind

Darkness and light entwine
Everything is all the time
All around you points align
Everything is all the time

You want to live for eternity
To see behind the veil
Everything comes around again
The serpent eats its tail

Hey guys, these are just cheap flashlights I disassembled to use the parts for the headlights. I cut the holes in the front for the headlights with a dremel. The wiring was done with spare parts I had lying around because I'm an electrician. I actually gave this away a year ago or so because my son outgrew it.

Thanks for the interest!

Hey +Chris Morales, I forgot to turn off the "share on Google+" thing before I made that comment on my video. I got a notification that someone commented on one of my YouTube videos, so I replied.

That video is a couple years old though, and that power wheels was a "pay it forward" over a year ago. I gave it to a coworker for his son who is a few years younger than mine. Quin graduated to go karts and motorcycles awhile ago anyway.

Thanks for the encouraging words though! I love doing these kinds of projects. Shoot... almost any kind of DIY project is fun. Especially when it is for/involves the kids.

Stumbled upon this momma spider carrying an egg sack while hiking. It was slightly larger than a baseball. Anyone know what kind it is?

What an incredible job your mom did on those scrapbooks. By watching, it's easy to see how much she cares. Really inspirational, man. Congrats on your hike, and I hope your mom is doing well.

A new analysis published in Science traces how “defaunation”—the decline of species like elephants and polar bears—is consistent with mass extinction events in the past.

Hi, I'm a dork... but my mommy says it's okay.
Introduction
Hey, how's it going? I'm Chris. I'm a guy. I loved bacon before it was cool. The thing I'm most proud of in life is being a father to the most wonderful son in the milky way.

What else? Umm......

Oh, I guess a little about why I'm on G+. Well, I initially got invited to G+ back in the beta days and jumped on in. I did have a FB account, but I realized there was a reason I was only "friends" with most of them on the internet, and not in everyday life. Common interests... not shared. I considered keeping it for family and close friends exclusively, but when I started to trim down my friend list, people were offended as if they were unaware they were a bit "douchey", so I deleted the whole thing. Pardon the language.

Here I am. On Google+. I like it. I feel no obligation to circle people back. I'll have a peep at their posts when I have time, and if I dig it I circle them. If not, no worries.

My interests are varied, but the main ones I focus on here are geekdom, photography (I'm quinsdad on instagram btw. Follow me and I'll follow you back), parenting, and during football season the Baltimore Ravens. I am a MD native, born and raised.

I have been told I have a good sense of humor. Mom's are awesome.

I offer respect to those who show respect. I won't get into internet arguments, that's lame. I'll just uncircle/block you. So far that hasn't happened at all apart from blocking spammers.

I come across interesting things on here every day, and I'm really grateful for the overall positivity of the members here. Very cool.

**High five to you for reading my boring profile**
