Say hello to the Zip-Up Tray Pouch by Aneela Hoey of #ComfortStitching. This sturdy pouch opens up into a tray, to keep contents (like your favorite Aurifil threads, snips, pins, & clips) close at hand and easy to reach. It can be zipped up when not in use and is great for storage and sewing on the go. We want to make one or ten in all of our favorite fabrics!!

#Aurifil is nothing without you — the creatives, the visionaries, the designers, the artists… You do amazing things with our thread, always pushing the boundaries, trying new things, wowing us with your innovations and your artistry.

With that in mind, we’ve revamped our Blogger/Artist program and are proud to introduce our #AurifilArtisan Program! The program offers a wonderful collaborative opportunity… a way for us to partner to herald the work that you do and spread the Aurifil love.

I have been told that the best way to clean car windows is with alcohol. After 3 Prosecco I am not sure if my windows are clean, but I no longer care.

Yvonne Fuchs of Quilting Jetgirl recently finished her Meadow Mystery quilt and we think it turned out so cool! The pattern is by Cheryl Kaminsky Brickey of Meadow Mist Designs, each year she hosts a mystery quilt along and this is the final result of the 2016 sew along. For her fabrics, Yvonne used a combination of Robert Kaufman Fabrics Kona solids, #LizzyHouse Silver on Black Constellations, and Tula Pink Mosaic in Glacier. Her quilting was done with Aurifil 50wt with loose wavy lines.

It’s impossible to have a long list of “priorities”, there should be only one priority at any given time ... and than I woke up.

I simply love this adorable bunny quilt created by Carol Swift of Just Let Me Quilt for the Therm O Web blog! She used Aurifil monofilament thread for the quilting, and our 28 weight variegated thread color #4648 to blanket stitch her applique.
