Sorry, some corrections... I grew up in the church and never heard of anyone being neutral in the battle in Heaven. The explanation for Africans that I was taught is that they were the descendants of Ham and the mark of Cain was upon them through Ham's wife. Mormon's don't believe that God "Elohim" was Adam. Rather they believe that Gabriel/Michael the Archangel is Adam. The "Garden of Eden being in MO" thing is explained away that the whole earth was rearranged after the great flood. So they try to have an (bad) explanation for plate tectonics. The maker of this movie takes a couple different quotes and mangles them together a bit. From D&C section 135 verse 3; Brigham Young is quoted as saying "Joseph Smith, the Prophet and Seer of the Lord, has done more, save Jesus only, for the salvation of men in this world, than any other man that ever lived in it." and another quote from Joseph Smith in History of the Church vol. 6, p. 408-409 regarding a grand jury that was convened against him, "I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of Jesus ran away from Him; but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet."
