Hi https://drive.google.com/a/nwp.org/file/d/0B8NsHWulVSyZQ0VUajBiR2hhUDQ/view .. This is cool and your instructions seem really clear. How did it go in class? As a non-math person I'd love to see a video of the kids making and/or then using this for their plotting.... it took me a couple links to find this so I thought I'd share a direct link here:

- I absolutely love this post. I will be doing this with my students next week. This will really help them visualize a coordinate plane. They tend to have a hard time with knowing how to even draw a graph. I see common mistakes like: numbers written the incorrect way, the x and y not put in the right area. And the Quadrants are always going the wrong way. This exercise is hands on and very visual.Feb 13, 2015
- Interactive notebooks are always a hit! My students seem to gravitate towards them before they will use the math program reference books!Feb 13, 2015
- Glad you guys like them!I printed the template on colored paper so that the Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 were already there and the coordinate plane was too...I can e-mail you my resources or share via Google Docs if you'd like :) It went well in class ! They are all made now...and we're pretty much past it now, but it was a nice way to review this topic.Feb 15, 2015
- I'm new to interactive notebooks this semester...so if you have any resources you think are useful please send them my way!Feb 15, 2015
