Food waste recycling

Just done some work on a website for a company called Ridan. We done some design and some SEO to hopefully make more people aware of what a great product they make.

Food waste composting machines, designed to recycle food waste into compost. They do not use any power so are completely eco-friendly and they produce high quality compost, helping to reduce landfill waste and harmful gases. Not to mention the reductions in costs for waste management. It's a win-win situation.

Just put up a post on the North Devon Design website about saying goodbye to the Simpsonrallying website after 10 years.

Feels a bit sad to say goodbye, but its only because Tony has a super-duper new website showcasing all of his talents and not just rally driving.

It's a great site, if we do say so ourselves, but don't take our word for it, check it out yourself at: http://www.tonysimpson.co.uk

We have recently launched a new website for The Douglas Bader Foundation. The DBF are a charity organisation helping amputees and people affected by limb loss through support and financial assistance.

Previously they had two sites and both of which are crammed full of information and content, so it was a real challenge to get it all into one website that works on mobile devices.

Please feel free to check out their site and maybe even make a donation while you are there. It's for a great cause.

We have just finished working on a new community based , whats-on website for music fans in north Devon, aptly named North Devon Gigs.

The site is free to use and free from advertising, so why did we do it?

Two reasons. One it was a chance to play about with BuddyPress, the WordPress community plugin that offers many Facebook type features. Second, we all love music at North Devon Design and regularly go to gigs, but were frustrated by there not being one central source of information for all gigs in around North Devon.

It has only been up for a couple of days and we have had about 50 new users sign up already, both adding and looking up gigs. It's all very exciting! We don't have a big budget to promote the site at the moment, so will have to rely on word of mouth and a few ink-jet printers posters to get it really moving.

Feel free to take a look, register a free account and add or look up a gig. We are also asking people to send in Band profiles, gig reviews and any band / gig news, so if there are any budding music journalists out there, here is your chance to shine!
