Recent stats however show that people are now more aware of adblocking software and are willing to use it.

The Qualifications Needed to Take Fee Paying Passengers Boating in the UK

Owning a #boat is an expensive affair, but by taking paid passengers out on the water your boat can earn its keep.

According to UK regulations however, “Any boat that’s not a pleasure vessel is considered to be a commercial boat.” This means, as soon as you start taking paying passengers or cargo you are considered a commercial #vessel - yourself and your boat will need to acheive certain qualifications.

Are Facebook’s Messenger Bots A Privacy Concern Too Far?

+Facebook is encouraging #advertisers to create their own bots in an effort to reach out to more customers through its Messenger app.

'Messenger Platform' has been released in beta mode and has been dubbed 'conversational commerce' with experts predicting that Messenger will become the go-to all-in-one #mobilemarketing channel for brands.

However - with bots typically being used daily in online scams - the move by Facebook raises concerns over privacy, especially considering that the EU's new privacy updates are just around the corner.

Why We Hope The Industry Rejects Persado's Smart Content

New startup, +Persado has created software which it says can automate #copywriting for #marketing campaigns. They say that the software is able to create cognitive #content to "generate a precise combination of words, phrases, and images that can motivate any audience".

Frankly the idea of automated #smartcontent sounds absurd, especially when #Persado says its software’s copy and images “resonate with any audience, every time, and inspires them to act."

For us, though, a statement like that makes us concerned about the impact of #marketingautomation on creativity, and puts digital marketing as a whole on a very dangerous path.

New Technology Shows There's No Excuse To Lack A Creative Strategy
