Reddit's Woes Highlight Short Term Strategy Suicide

#Reddit went into meltdown last week when a popular figure that interacted with the community was suddenly sacked. Large swathes of the website’s moderators made subreddits private, effectively locking a lot of people out.

If you rely on one website and doing the same thing over again then you’ll always be in danger of something like this happening to your #socialmedia campaign.

I discuss why you need to focus first and foremost on your customers rather than relying on a social strategy that puts all your eggs in one basket. If you strategise properly with the long-term in mind then you’ll surely see your business grow online.

How To Approach Content Sponsorship – 5 Top Tips

New FTC rules dictate that if you buy an ad, you have to have the sponsored label.

But when it comes to #ContentMarketing there is a fear of the word ‘Sponsored’. A lot of #marketers worry that if they pay for and provide content to a third party for promotional purposes, and it’s labelled sponsored, then they may be seen as a naff brand or that it may be a waste of money.

Being sponsored and partnering your content in the right places, though, can really get your message out there and help build valuable relationships.

Here's 5 tips on how to build ethical sponsored content relationships.

Teams have to fend for themselves, and are not allowed to leave pre-prepared food and equipment drops on their route.

In this article +The Boating Hub look at the qualifactions required to participate in the R2AK, and which #sailing courses you should consider taking.
