This is an interesting article it includes techniques for dealing with difficult people. One suggestion was that instead of standing in front of the person you stand next to them supposedly it has a calming influence. Hmmm. Interesting.
Thanks +Micahael van der Galien I love to hear what G+ users, writers, authors, photographers and social media gurus are doing with social media to connect, share, teach, and promote, and engage with a diverse and intelligent audience. In fact alltop could inspire me to learn to use the G+rss reader so that I could still read while diminishing my paper clutter. It would also be great to contribute at some point.
As I announced yesterday (and before that), I was working on a G+-related project. A magazine that would launch today.
Well, it's here. We just went live.
I'm very excited about this latest online adventure and believe it will be a great success. We're working with a fantastic group of people (see below), who are very hard working and who truly love social media, especially G+.
What a great charity Prince Harry is involved with. It was inspirational to hear about cause, wounded vets blind, an amputee, making a 200 mile trek. It was supposed to be the American's against the Brittish but, because of the conditions that decided to work together as a team to make it to the end. That decision alone inspires me. Love this! Thanks Prince Harry and all who those who participated you are an inspiration. Rose Offner
LOVED APE. I highly recommend this book. If you are a writer, author, publisher, or someone with a book idea. It is informative, A publishing tool for beginners and pros and you will be inspired to work toward writing and publishing independence.
Join us for another exciting APE hangout with best selling author Barry Eisler. From the intro on Barry's website "If you like edge-of-your seat action, exotic locations, realistic spycraft, steamy sex, and protagonists who are "the stuff great characters are made of" (Entertainment Weekly), you've come to the right place..." Sounds like our hangouts, right? Well, minus the steamy sex, of course. http://www.barryeisler.com/
Barry wrote Be the Monkey: A Conversation about the New World of Publishing and is best known for his mystery thrillers. http://amzn.to/153afmf

I want to learn about licensing agreements. So I joined Authors guild and I am waiting for my handy dandy book from them. I ordered two books from Nolo Press on the topic of copyright and licensing. But, I wonder if anyone can help me to learn some of the basics.
