Well Rickie, I highly doubt you do this often, but when you look at history you tend to learn from it. Look at the history of gas cars, around for a century and already there is an alternative that is a lot better than most gas cars. And a signal of the world's transition to the better choice can already be seen. A start up company became a major electric car manufacturer which will be releasing a $35k EV in the near future. even now many other manufacturers are creating electric cars.
As for the problem with electric cars range... looking back at history, the more time that passes, the more the new invention is improved on. Listing problems today in an argument about the future is nonsensical. Are you saying that this is a long term draw back? Of course not, battery efficiency and motor power won't stay the same forever and never have. So if there are any long term drawbacks you can provide for me, please do share.
