DO NOT GO HERE! Cockroaches and waiters that write in extra tips after you leave! In the middle of our brunch i saw the largest cockroach I have ever seen crawling up the wall next to me, myself and other patrons pointed it out to the staff and no one even acknowledged us or the roach. The food was good so i will give them that but the next day i looked at my credit card statement and my waiter had written in additional $30 on top of the 20% gratuity that was already added to my bill! I called and left a message and no one called me back then finally i spoke to the Manager Luis on the phone. He was very nice and told me he would refund my money right away. This was 2 weeks ago and i still haven't seen the money credited to my account. It it ridiculous that not only do the servers steal from customers but that management also lies about refunding you. This place should be shut down!

This is my favorite brunch spot in all of NYC....They offer multiple cuisines, an ouside bar, and a chalk board in the restrooms to write a memo about your stay! There is also a basketball court in the park across the street and an amazing German museum down the road. Also, many fairs go on Sundays, a few blocks past. I highly recommend their brunch on Sundays....but they get booked up fast. Best to call and reserve a seat, or go extra early and take a tour before hand.

Arrived with the place well less than half full and missing one person for our reservation. Asked to be seated and they wouldn't. It's not like you're full or like our table isn't reserved!! We would like to sit and start with drinks and aps while we wait. Why be so Rude and refuse!!! So dumb.. We're more likely to find somewhere else to go!

Very delicious brunch with a bottomless mimosa deal that comes with three different flavors. I liked it! Very good food as well.

Macondo owns a little stand just south of Times Square called Bono Taco... this place is disgusting and disorganized. Not only did I wait 40 minutes for an empanada and a taco, but the order was wrong.. they gave me a shrimp empanada when I ordered chicken. I am allergic to shrimp. Luckily I noticed the smell when I got back to my office. I'm writing this review before I go over there and get my money back. I will NEVER EVER go back to that stand. Several people were still standing in line just to get salads they ordered 30 - 40 minutes prior. This is disgraceful. The food is definitely not worth the money and it will NEVER be worth the time. If you don't know how to run a business efficiently then don't set up shop where it's busy and the patrons have to get back to work. The worst part was that they apologized and shrugged it off as if it was not their problem. "Sorry you can't get your food in a decent time... too bad for you." Several people in line demanded their money back, which I am doing soon. Don't waste your time like I did. You'll never get it back.
