The only reason it looks like a sucker punch is because Ortiz's special ass was too busy trying to apologize while hugging for a third time

+SilverBlackGorilla B Meeks I think if his attitude was better he could be taught to not stand flat footed and he can be coerced into using his jab more ... and he needs to be taught to move that head more so he could stop eating so many shots .. it begins with his character

+jack frost Thanks for the kind words. I'll take speed and accuracy over power any day. As someone said about Ali, "he didn't knock you out, he rubbed your out.

For those they think I dislike PACQUIAO ... you are wrong I actually admire the man not just for his work outside the ring but also for his work inside the ring ...

I am not posting this video in disrespect ... I am posting it to show all the people that are talking negatively about PACQUIAO , that he was actually trying ... and his corner came up with the best game plan they could for their fighter ...

This video does show some of the adjustments that MAYWEATHER made after something PACQUIAO had done was successful

"People mistake lack of skill with heart.
Taking unnecessary punishment means that you lack an effective defense. Rolling, side-stepping, ducking, slipping, bobbing and weaving, hand placement, footwork, and ring generalship.
It also means you lack an effective fight strategy.
So a person compensates for lack of brains with his heart.
Now, if you still wish to argue after hearing that gem you are beyond teaching."

+Chris Manzi no I'm saying that we should appreciate the boxers who know how to box also ... not just want to see a bloodbath

Styles make fights and while some people prefer to have every boxing match be a slugfest it can be much more satisfying to watch a chess match. The jabs, the feints, the footwork to someone that understands what they are watching they can receive much more gratification from the sweet science rather than a bloodbath. Certain fighters get criticized in our day and age for have a high boxing acumen, but the reason for this is because there are so few elite boxers. In this era of fist to cuffs we have mostly punches and fighters of attrition, there are very few actual boxers.

I don't blame the fighters themselves because they are trying to build a sport back up that at one time held the premier world wide sports events. So to stay relevant many fighters are trying to be action fighters. They are trying to have as gruesome and aggressively brutal as possible. We have forgotten how beautiful a perfectly timed side step and counter looks, we have forgotten how how elegant a professionally executed parry can mesmerize an opponent. We have exchanged a round 1 and 2 of feeling ones opponent out, finding range and distance, gauging power and jousting for position for throw as many punches as possible.

It's not because there aren't any boxers anymore ... it's because we have become so blood thirsty we want fights to end in the first couple of rounds or we are not satisfied.

Watch the last SUGAR RAY v DURAN fight. ... that was a sign of what was to come ... DURAN didn't fight because he couldn't figure SUGAR RAY out . ...

Reminds me of a recent fight of the century

It had to be the one with Moorer but I remember it being 45 seconds but I could be wrong.
