I received horribly RUDE service from a waitress at Cafe Dada. I asked for a salad, requesting that the dressing be put on the side. I received my order, and my salad was covered in dressing... When I asked for the salad to be sent back, I was taunted and harassed by the waitress about my order! -to make matters worse, I was on a date! This spiteful waitress was trying to embarrass me for inconveniencing her, and having my salad professional. This cafe has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Really. It is quite a shame that their servers must be so rude.

This place is great! The prosciutto crepe changed my life..... Seriously, I will be making some drastic lifestyle changes just so I am able to enjoy more of this crepe.

I love almost everything about this place - wonderful food and pastries I haven't had since Paris (LOVE their eclairs). Coffee, wine, and wonderful service at tables. Amusing, thoughtful decor. I said almost everything - if they accepted American Express I would change that to an unreserved everything and give them five stars.

Good pastries for breakfast like raisin & plain croissants. They have petite cakes and sweets, a breakfast menu and a medium-sized, artsy seating area. Paintings are displayed in the windows. Keep an eye out or you'll walk past it.

I accidentally found this place after another brunch place I was aiming for was closed for the day. We drove around until we happened upon Cafe Dada. It was a rainy day, but it was packed and we waited about 15 minutes before being seated. I love the chill, no frills atmosphere of this cafe. I ordered the Croque Monsieur and tried not to butcher the pronunciation of it. It was a sandwich involving French ham & gruyere on country bread. And dropped another dollar bill to add a sunny side up egg. It's not brunch without eggs. The sandwich was hearty and absolutely delicious. Sometimes, the simplest things are the hardest to master. In this case, they absolutely nailed it. My only note was when I ordered a coffee and asked for a refill, but before I finished the first cup, it was taken away. I was then charged for two cups of coffee because lo and behold, refills were not free. If they weren't free, why would you remove a coffee that hadn't been finished? The management immediately removed one of the coffee charges. I'll definitely return for the surprisingly good food and service.

Not that great. I live in the Slope and am not snooty - first. Ok so this place is loved by some of the people in the slope. The prices aren't bad. The crepes are good. But the service! yikes! Ordered a coffee, wasn't asked how I liked it. Wasn't brought cream to the table. Ended up getting up and walking to the barista and adding it myself. Finished the cup, waiter didn't ask if I wanted another one (I did) and I eventually had to ask the waiter if I should just go to the barista and ask him if I wanted a new coffee. Maybe thats how it was supposed to work. (It wasn't) Father in law in for a visit from out of town. Ordered the Tuna sandwhich, which had practically no tuna on it. They were nice enough to comp it off but I would of rather just had a good tuna ya know? He ended up not eating it and ordering a burger about an hour later from another joint. Its cool they sell local artwork. I really wanted to like it, and my crepe was good but the service killed the score. I don't really need to go back here again. I'd like to add they weren't that busy and our waiter was hovering and not doing anything talking to other waiters. I had to work hard to get his attention.

Park slope has so many incredible places to stop and eat that it was hard to recommend a place until I came across Cafe Dada. Crepes (both sweet and savory) are amazing, and the service is even better.

I really enjoyed the overall experience here. They have a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere . Really great Hungarian and French dishes. Live music on the weekends and a nice wide wine selection. I'll be back!
