US Senator for Maryland seeks individual to be responsible primarily for veteran’s casework and outreach to veterans organizations from her Baltimore office. This position is full time including some work on evenings and weekends. Prerequisites include: college degree or equivalent; strong interpersonal written and oral skills; current IT skills and an outgoing personality. Preference given to candidates with strong casework management experience or a degree in social work. Salary commensurate with experience. The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) is holding open houses to answer questions on the I-895 Bridge Replacement North of the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel and replacement of Holabird Ave. ramp. Construction will take place between Boston Street/O’Donnell Street and the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel. Work includes demolishing and reconstructing the 3,300-foot elevated section of I-895 north of the tunnel. Construction is expected to begin fall 2016. http://bit.ly/113r71w
