Neighborhood gem a block from home. They recently revamped the menu and it is both delicious and affordable for a schmancy place. The cocktails are awesome, the draft list is small, but good. For happy hour, most of the menu is 1/2 off, but the portions also seem like half the normal portions. I recently got the shrimp cocktail, which came with like horseradish foam, so fun and yummy. The sautéed spinach is a hidden star, so simple, but creamy and a great side. Also veggie servings! They have stuff for vegetarians and meat lovers alike. The mussels are plentiful and the cheese boards are dope af. Possibly best in the neighborhood, lots of complimentary items. Highly recommend this place, but it was a little hot inside during the heat wave.

Howl is a pet haven!! They only carry responsibly produced, extremely healthy food for your pets. I have 2 gatos and I buy all of their cat food and treats here. Occasionally I pet sit a dog and he loves our little trips here for duck feet and bully sticks. The staff is so knowledgeable both about the products and pet care. They have a rewards program! Who doesn't love rewards! Everything you need for your pets they have. Great community small business.

The food market is really expensive for moderate sized plates, but the level of expense meets the taste in my opinion. They have interesting and delicious desserts, my favorite is the heath bar bread pudding! Lots of options for a pescatarian like me. I remember a rich, savory lobster Mac and cheese. Fiance likes the pork belly bites. Where I think the food market has things down is brunch. Reasonably priced and they do these breakfast shots that are maybe too good? I had the French toast shot and it was so fun! I love that they have a community table, I like sitting with strangers. Overall, great food, good for special celebrations, not good for eating with kids or every day eating, unless you're a gajillionaire who doesn't have anything better to spend their money on.

This place has delicious everything. I'm currently eating a side kale ceasar salad and a quinoa burger on a sesame bun with pickles and roasted tomato hummus and it seriously might be the best "burger" I've had in this city. I don't eat meat so take that for what you will, but it's so delicious I was compelled to write a review, that never happens. Before I stopped eating sugar I had the privilege of eating their baked goods (cupcakes, cookies, power bars, donuts) and they are also delectable. Everything here is vegan and gluten free, but also delicious as my bread-eating, meat-eating fiance will attest. Dynamite coffee. A block from my house. This is amazing. My new lunch spot for sure. Just out of reach of a pokestop, but if you sit outside you might make it. Some of the nicest service in Hampden.

Awesome beer selection!! Best selection right in the heart of hampden a block from me. Doesn't get better. They also have a small tasting bar with rotating taps and always a good unique selection. They do crowlers and also gift wrap for you! Their selection of snooty meats and cheeses is awesome. I will only go here for charcuterie. Prices are still reasonable and everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help.
