Did not attend here BUT saw one of your regular comedians Mr. Brian Bradley on the Nieuw Amsterdam Cruise ship in December 2014. Brian is a funny comedian and I went up on stage with him. My family really enjoyed him also as did the entire ship. He is also a nice man. He has been under the weather and I can't blog him on his facebook page as he is sooooo popular. Can someone let me know if I can send a card to the improv club and if you can forward it to him???? Last he posted he thought he was having surgery. His entourage was concerned. We feel bad that he is unwell. It happens to us all. Brian is a nice person and has quite the resume. Thanks for your input. Wrote your address down. I am Canadian.

Terrible hospitality, less than average quality food, but decent entertainment. If the staff worked on their service and maybe SMILE, as in "you're working at a comedy club, not a funeral parlor", maybe we'd consider coming back. But most likely, we won't.

I went to the Improv last month with a friend and I absolutely can't wait to go back. To be fair, it was my first time going to a comedy club, but it definitely left me wanting to go back! The food was great. I had their funnel fries. SO MANY! It was so good. The seats are wicked close together, but I've been informed that this is standard with comedy clubs. I'm small...under 5ft and I weigh 120 lbs, so this was no big deal to me, but I feel bad for anyone larger than myself. It was strange having to share a table with strangers, but they were very friendly and I had a GREAT time. Definitely a must.

The shows are great I highly recommend you see your favorite comedian there. I'ts the actual venue that leaves something to be desired. My two main problems with this place is often times we buy 8-10 tickets and go with a big group of people. If 1-2 people dont make it that replace their seats at our table with random people. I do not like that fact that the tickets have been paid for yet someone else gets our seats. If i buy tickets to a sporting event or musical our seats do not get given to someone else if they are paid for. The 2nd problem i have is as of late, the larger tables they are adding another chair to. So now the same table that everyone sits at that seats 4, now seats 5. This can be a real pain in the ass if everyone is eating and drinking ( which they usually do). They are just cramming more and more people in the tables and frankly its rather annoying to not have any elbow room. The food is decent, the service is hit or miss depending on who you have. Last show for Jay Mohr our table of 4 had a server that was there the minute we sat down. We got our food out before the main act went on. Our friends at the table next to us had a different server. She came by about 10 minutes later than ours however their food did not arrive till about an hour or more into the show. Since they want to cram you in there and service isn't always the best do yourself a favor and eat at a restaurant outside of there before you go in to avoid this.

We won 4 free tickets, we made reservations and all they told us was to bring an I.D and everyone needed to be 21 and over. When we get there they tell us because the tickets were free our reservation was voided and given to paying guest. They told us we could wait around to see if they had room to let us in. We waited for 45 minutes and no one had the courtesy to tell us that they were never going to let us in. We finally asked and the girl at the window just knots her head no, that they will not going to let us in. My point is, if you are not going to let in guest because the entry is free then why give these tickets away. Its not right and we wasted our time. Be careful, they tell you its free but they don't let you in. I bet you if you said you will pay, they will have room.

I went solo to see Paul Mooney on a Thurs night hoping it wouldn't be crowded. He filled the house. This club is located in a nice upscale plaza near the Orlando Conv. Ctr. It's 1/2-blk fm the Peabody. You'll have to park in the plaza garage (4 floors) & tk the elev. or stairs. They give you a few $ off for parking. The food is nice fare & good portions. I pd $20 ticket, $4 parking, & $40 meal/drinks. I got there early & they seated me right @ the stage. The opening act was nice & very well humored. Paul did a nice show 8:30-10:45. He gave us our monies worth. However, they do need more proactive security. Just bef. the end of his set, a mature Black female had a lot to say abt a very young overpaid Black athelet & his pricey White date. They should have bounced them both, but they let them go on for an hr. It spilled into the lounge so I didn't get my night cap nor my autographed PM t-shirt. It didn't help when she saw the couple get into his $175,000 Porsche. So it overflowed into the parking garage. I ducked & ran for my car. He had a body guard & I didn't want to witness a Tupac moment.

I came to see Loni Love last week and was plesantly surprised with my whole experience. The hostess was smiling and welcoming as soon as we walked in. The door men were courteous and helpful. We did have to sit with another couple but our seats were awesome. The server was quick, knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy her job.
