Mengers Sponge. Had some fun. [zoom draw]

All is uncertain.
Are you certain that all is uncertain?
Yes. All is uncertain.
Shouldn't you be uncertain that all is uncertain?
Why would I be uncertain of my uncertainty?
Well, because then perhaps all is certain.
Yes, I'm certain that all is uncertain.
No, I mean if you are uncertain that all is uncertain, doesn't that mean that all might be certain?
If all is certain and I am uncertain, then all isn't certain is it?
Yes, but if all is uncertain and you are certain, then something is certain, meaning all isn't uncertain because you aren't uncertain about all being uncertain, which makes ...
I get it.
Thank you.

...
...
Are you certain that you get it now?
...
...
...no.
Good!

How to determine if something has a pattern or if it's randomness? Lag Plots. Where have you been all my life?

"No patterns today?"
"Nope. Everything is random."
"Good."

Hey! It's my data structu... well.... I mean it's one I've been WONDERING why "nobody seems to be doing it" data structure... but it's called "zzStructure"... and probably me and lots of other people had the same kind of idea...

...still anyway, glad somebody's done it, even if they patented it... and don't let people make free versions of it... even though it's one of those "of course!" ideas that people will eventually trip over anyway... meh, such is things.

Good job Ted Nelson. At least you're working on it.

more stuff I forgot I did in 2012. I had a website for players on my Minecraft server. Hand-wrote the site with lots of hooks into the server itself, which was hosted on my $400 laptop I'm using now.

Included an IRC where people on the site could chat with users on the server and visa versa. [this is before Minecraft allowed it for this purpose - I had to set up plugins]. This meant that people could stay in contact with friends using their 2012-era smart phones or computers. Sometimes they'd sneak on the school or work computers to do it, as they didn't need IRC as I set up the site so they could do it from the website itself.

At the time, Minecraft had an easy to hook into ID system allowing me to compel users to login in order to use the chat feature.

I also automatically set everybody up with profiles, much like Facebook. I pre-set all 27,000 profiles which the users could fill in either from the website or from within minecraft itself, by custom commands I wrote that interacted with the site from within the game.

Whole industries spawned from the game genre, long before Microsoft bought it.

I myself made a few $$$ from it but only as freely given donations (with some in-game rewards as carrot-on-a-stick, which they could earn simply by staying on).

That's one feature I had for a while that I liked: I set it up where people went up levels just by being there. The more time you were on, the higher you would rise. Just by being there. You could just put yourself to bed in the game before you went to bed in real life, stay logged in wake up the next morning in real life and you'd be up several levels I was fine with that. I liked when virtual reality and reality reality mixed... most of the time.

Always said I'd write about it one day. One day I will. I guess I just did.
