Check out my latest freebie on patreon called Change of Heart. Its where i post now my watches to easily link everywhere and give folks a chance to donate if they like to and a few more options to help me continue producing. A few have asked me in the past so i figured it about time to give one that option now after 2 years practicing. I can also easily incorporate videos there and streams etc. Hope you like it there and the watch made in memory of my ex girlfriend whom I haven't been a good friend lately. Its a reminder to me that i always seem to have a change of heart when I seem to get jelous. Even though I look for distance I find a way back .... not even time can change that it seems, this is what I had in mind on this design and to make me overthing my actions. I often act a fool and use art and watchmaking as my tool to express myself. Sigh. Click the image or the link to get to the dropbox download. Enjoy and Thx <3

Here is one called Coming Out. The tea time scene from Alice in Wonderland attempted to turn into a watchface. I sometimes watch movies and when scene ideas spark I try making them instantly. Here is the outcome from one of those occurrences, I just love alice in wonderland and keep returning to the story on occasions. The clouds table and teapot and legs line up at the hour positions so no markers needed here yet visual guidance is still in the image itself. Rest is straight forward her hands tell the time 3.02 on the watch ad below. She is subtle animated (Head and Skirt) and has my pendel gyro on her to try to reach the tea pots ledge jumping for it. In dim you get a outer edge to highlight it as if your looking through the wicket witches glass ball spying on alice. That outer softened dim edge I chose to let you color as you please. It waves out from dim with a dreamy effect similar as in old movies to enhance the magic ball effect. That's all in this one.

Wacky Weekend Watch. This "thing" is called Farbenacci (Farben german for Color), a minimal geometric color matching coding time teller to explain it sort of. Inside the fibunacci circles are squares that point to the time. Although they are offset and rotate to theire own time, both curves and colors will match up perfectly in time giving you the fibunacci harmony that the graphical compositional formula is famous for. This also ensures that the colors differ as soon as they are not matched perfectly so you can tell the time on it easily along with a softened border to make the cicle they are in more visible. Since the squares are semi tansperant they will mix nicely once they are appart as seen in the mid image, they all cycle to theire corresponding time seconds seconds wise minutes minute wise and so on yet still match when over each other. For example last one on the right is 12 oclock exact while the one on the far left points towards 6:34:08. To make it easier tap in the optional 12 dotted markers to help you pinpoint it exactly. Wearing it a while the colors alone will let you know the hour once used to it. Thats about it on this one. In dim the seconds dissapear leaving you with two flowenacci type Petals. Link coming in 3 and 1, click on the image meanwhile to inspect it closer i chose to give you a tripple example this time around and or try figuring out the time in the middle one (Hint look for the thick edges and the complete Fibunacci Circle the Squarer is ;). See ya soonish. ;)

Special Guest on this one +Christophe Madelaine who hooked me up with the HSV Color Cycling Codes knowing i would put em them to use. Thx again Bud. That code I than fine tuned to not jump once the minute passes so it transitions smoothly.

Simple but Effective. Sharing one of my favorite image tools. Its a plain alpha black edge hole. Very usefull for softening up the outer edges on certain designs. I often use theese also in combo with gyros to mimic a spotlight on the face that moves to your wrists behavior or for making the watch pop even more since your decreasing contrast gradually on the outskirts and leading the eye to look at the center mainly. I figured I share it since i use it quite frequently myself. To have less of a softness on the edge just duplicate the layer over itself until you get a result your looking for and scale it approriatly. Hope it comes in handy. ;) I just prepped it again for the upcomming Flowernacci Watchface and figured upping it for the community while I'm at it.

Had to get one in there for the Holidays as well. Today was Santa Day in germany, the 6th of december we get stockings/plates filled with chocklates the 1st advent. He climbs in the chimbney and places the sweets on the table early when your sleep. I tried catching the man a few times i recall. Some parents make a event out of it to make it more beleivable and have dad faking the santa in the early hours sneaking in. This reminded me of one of the very first things i beleive i learned to draw. Santa Clauses House, even back than the continuous line object had my attention instantly and well Santa Lives in there so. I always thought why such a shabby house, now i realize its supposed to be a gift package and a house in one. Continous line surrealism art i call that. :D Well enough bla bla here is a watch that turns to time similar to a few of mine and many of the Mr. Jones Dials where i saw the concept first. The digital timer will help you incase your lost and learn the movement while wearing it. You can switch it aswell into Weekdays and Months and Temperature in the little water ice hole there. It also reacts as if a sinker is in water from a fishing rod. Other features include snowfall left right falling motion in the upper half and the house depletes to your batterys last third power downward so you get a notice on the last thirds just looking at the giftwrap/housecolor sinking. The stars represent one hour steps the gaps half inbetweens. A christmas card i saw today inspired me to do it similar but as a watch so i designed past few hours a lil something. Link comming before the 24th promise. :D

Here is the texture i threw together for the AVI 8 in PS on the Fly Bye, incase one wants to copy another one or wants to use this for some other design. I kept it full and cut it up after into the panels i needed after drawing it up for the version i was going for. Figured one may want to use it or save one the trouble trying to find one similar. I call it Dread Like Rasta.

Its OG size i create in 900x900 aproximately usually at 72dpi. Once imported scale it down till you see the edge wich is usually around 520-530 inside WM on my parts. Note I take the scaling down in factor, meaning the texture will result in about the same size as the product im going for once scaled down. I do this for better resolution once i scale since you can include more details on higher resolutions/dpi and makes working easier. (Most work higher this is just my approach to it, dont feel like you have to stick to what i do is what im saying. :)

Here one called Inside Out sry short on time today for something more elaborate. Minimal aproach to telling time inspired by Eschers fabulous staircase spiral image. Its very easy to read once you realize what to look out for. Its 4:30 on the watch below. A quick design i came up with looking at his original image I posted in the comments below. Its named after what tells time. The inner two rows of one spiral point to the hours (ending spiral tip) and the outer two rows of the other spiral to the minutes (beginning spiral tip) creating a continous shape that varys. The remaining two rows on each spiral match up perfectly being identical and meet in time. Designed to cause a interesting look over the course of the day and night while it clearly tells you the time. Looks like a dotted moon forming itself basically. Thats about it on this one exept for color options ofcourse. Another one for the minimal watch fans. Link comming in two and two.

Today's minimal quick design riding home from the Metro done in WM only. I often freestyle in WM on the move in downtime. Looking out the window in Munich on the subway gave me this idea here after seeing several construction sites. Basically the buildings Rise in Time. Each one Representing like a standard hand the mins hours and secs. The blinds serve as minutes seconds and hours markers. The moon and sun also have a unique movement to them. The moon cycles around the dial indicating you the night time (24h movement). The Sun Rises and Falls indicating the first 12 hours of the day, timed perfectly so one fades out while the other rises as in real life when you get to see both sort of. The design idea was to make it look as if your watching out a window of your apartment seeing the town grow over time. Figured I share this one. ;)

Other features include: coloring for gradient in the sky, and trappable digital time display or date in lit, dim shows battery level using the secs building and/or is displayed in tap modes as well on the bottom instead of the date or digital time.
