Rude and dismissive staff. Did not inform guests that there are no elevators and then accuses guest that it is the guests fault that they didn't ask for a 1st level. Then claims there are no 1st level rooms. We are seniors and they knew that. Terrible service. Dark rooms with poor lighting. Extremely overpriced for the quality of the rooms. You check in on one side of the street and then you have to turn left across a busy 4 lane street with no signal to get to your room. Next time we are staying at the Motel 8 which is just off the freeway for 1/2 the price and a better experience.

Hotel and staff were excellent! The property was very nice and well kept up. Flowers were everywhere and it was a great atmosphere. Breakfast was great and room was very nice and clean. Definitely the best place to stay in Cedar City! Will stay here again and again.

The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. We stayed in the South building and the rooms appear to be newly renovated. The pool was wonderful. The hot tub was perfect in temperature. The staff was also very accommodating to our needs. I would stay here again.

The only con about this place was with the indoor pool. We were excited to take our 1 year old swimming since it's been so cold lately. But the "indoor pool" had all its windows open so it was freezing in the room.

Nice place...good location...bad a/c! We rented the corner King Suite following a full day of hiking canyons. The a/c was kicking in the living room area. But the bedroom never cool down enough to comfortably sleep. When I told the front desk during checkout..."I'm sorry...I'll let them know". Doesn't help me at all. Basically...a $100 shower... Yeah...I'm kind of cranky now. No sleep does that

Unexpected extra charge which conflicts with information provided on hotel's website: I bidded through priceline and got this hotel for our December trip. The room rate is not a big discount but just ok. When I called the hotel and asked whether we can get a two-queen-beds room instead of a one-king-bed room because we have a kid. The answer is that they need to charge $10 per room per night extra because we request an "upgrade". When I went to Best Western's website, their rates for two-queen-beds room and one-king-bed room are exactly the SAME - that's saying that their two-queen-beds room is NOT an "upgrade" compared to their one-king-bed room. I have been using priceline to bid hotel rooms for more than 10 years and never had this "upgrade charge" issue before, either with small local hotels or big brand hotels. My feeling is that since Best Western sell their rooms to priceline at lower prices, they are seeking opportunities to CHARGE THAT BACK FROM CUSTOMERS. It makes me feel being cheated. If Best Western is not happy with the rates paid by priceline, they can negotiate their contract with priceline or do not join the priceline program at all. They SHOULD NOT play tricks with their customers. Although I have not stayed in this hotel yet, I already had a bad experience. One of the staff told me that "priceline gives us the freedom to charge extra from the customers" -- what does that mean? The total charge that I paid through priceline is the final total and should not be subject to random extra charges!
