Unfussy, strip-mall choice for Korean barbecue & standards such as bibimbop, soups & tofu dishes.- Google
"This is a tofu house, not Korean BBQ, but they have excellent beef ribs."

I really like the atmosphere in this tofu house! Prices are reasonable (although everything will be going up $1 in March 2015), and the soups all come with many sides automatically. Sides that I have had: a small fried fish, seaweed, kimchi, cold noodles, and at least 2-3 other sides depending on the day. The service is always quick-- many of the servers are not able to explain their dishes easily, but they are generally friendly and will try their best to answer your questions. The short ribs are awesome and a fairly decent portion that could be shared with another smaller entree item between 2 people. Be warned, "very spicy" is exactly that, but worth trying if you love some extra heat with your food. Parking is never a problem here, and I would suggest also heading across the street afterwards for some dessert at the Korean Mozart Bakery!

Great food at a reasonable price. Service is good but can be slow at busy times. Definitely worth coming back.

You can't beat the value for the money here! The service leaves a lot to be desired, but the food is awesome! All you can kimchi, noodles, and rice with your choice of soup! I love spicy, and this place is spicy! Mmmmm...

My wife and I frequent this wonderful little restaurant. I'm not the biggest fan of tofu or spicy things in general but this tofu soup (regular, still not spicy) is one of my favorite things to eat. Service is pleasant and always clean. Completely recommend this place.

I frequently skd very often with my boyfriend, the service is always very quick and very kind! I love the soup and rib combo, for the amount of food you're getting it is such great value. The food is always amazing!

Nice food though a bit expensive. They gave plenty side dishes.

Haven't had a lot of Korean in Atlanta, but this place is very good; pancakes, dumplings, noodles. If you have $20 to spend, get the Squid Noodles, best thing I've ever eaten, enough for 2 people.

So Kong Dong has a name that makes me giggle. Yes, I really am that juvenile. Name aside though, this place was unimpressive. I would like to think that I again fell to the occurrence of ordering the wrong dish. However, I do not think that was the case. I've had Korean BBQ before and this just didn't do it for me. This was a shame, because the BBQ was what I went to So Kong Dong for. I ordered the BBQ beef and spicy tofu soup. My meal came with the standard kimchi, green salad, bean sprouts, tea, and a small fried fish. The tofu soup came with a raw egg in which I saw other people put into their soup. So monkey see, monkey did. The tofu soup was nice and hot, but it did not give me the kick I was expecting for it to be labeled spicy. The waiter was pleasant, and even with the language barrier he was able to understand my request for condiments. This was a life saver, because I definitely needed salt and pepper for my meal. I'm sure Buford Highway has some great Korean BBQ restaurants, however for me this was not one of them.
