Government offices or businesses farmers have to deal with are mostly irrelevant, they'll be up and access these services when they need to, but most often, neither of these are operating during opportune times. They are not open early enough or late enough most often, the problem is time in genereal, moving the clock forward or backwards doesn't help in any fashion at all, it simply doesn't matter, as i stated, it's actually counter productive because the switch in time just throws off the farmers schedule.
As for the absurdity, stupidity, and laughable nature is the statement, or parroting that DST benefits farmers at all... period. Take my post with whatever tone you like, I'm just stating the facts surrounding dst vs farmers and how they are mutually exclusive.
Doesn't matter if it's cattle, or seeding, spraying, harvesting, whatever the nature of the tasks that need to be done, farmers are up and running before any businesses/governments open up and they are still working far past when they close.
