Mileage tracking is another popular request from Yardbook Users. We are very excited to introduce this new feature in the latest release. You can now add one or more vehicle(s) and log miles driven for each of them. At the end of the year, simply export all the mileage readings in an excel file and use it for tax filings.

Access Controls

Providing limited access for Employees is a popular request from Yardbook users. We are very excited to announce our latest feature: Access Controls. With this feature, Admins can grant their Employees the ability to view certain pages within Yardbook, without giving them full control over the program.

In this initial version, Admins can grant limited access to the Jobs page, from which Employees can see the job list; giving them the ability to mark jobs done and add notes/attachments to different jobs from the field. This saves time by letting employees log into Yardbook directly in real-time and freeing the admin from having to email or print the daily job list for their Employees. 

In the future, Yardbook will also introduce a time clock feature so Employees can clock in and clock out directly from the application.

Do you need mailing labels for your invoices or postcards? If you're already using Yardbook to manage your customers, printing mailing labels is easy. This new label feature is compatible with Avery 5160 label sheets.

Job Costing Report

Ever wonder how much a job has cost you? Now you have your own Job Costing Report. Simply record employee hours and material expenses, and the report will add up all the costs for you. You can even further filter the report based on customer name, job location, etc...

Time Clock and Timesheets

The ability to track employee hours has been a very popular request from Yardbook Users. Today, we're extremely excited to launch our latest feature: a Time Clock and a set of tools to manage timesheets.

With Timesheet Tracking, you can set up Yardbook’s Time Clock to have Employees clock in and clock out, or ask them to manually create timesheets. You can also grant access to crew leaders to manage timesheets of other Employees.
