Allow me to introduce… Inna Hope Hostetler rockin Snow Sugar apparel on location under the Covered Bridge in Vail, Colorado.

Not only is this talented young women drop dead gorgeous, but she’s also a true professional and absolute joy to work with as a photographer. Suffice it to say, I am very much looking forward to shooting Inna later this summer… we’ll be attempting some crazy edgy stuff up at Rancho Del Rio on the Upper Colorado River and around lower downtown Denver, highlighting abandoned warehouses and the newly renovated Union Station.

Regardless the the concept, clothing, location or request… Inna just kills it, keep takin’ it to da house girl!

The devil, and far too often death, are in the details…

I don’t know what it is about skulls, exactly, but in most if not all cultures their use and what they symbolize has great meaning and power. Can you tell by looking at this skull what type of animal it was or like me do you see the devil, horns and all.

This image was shot using one of my favorite tools, the Nikon FM3A, w/Nikkor 45mm 2.8p, on Fujifilm Velvia 50, and scanned using the Nikon LS Super CoolScan 9000 ED running VueScan software.

I am an artist, a photographer… I shoot film and so should you. — at Upper Colorado River.

If you haven’t been, and many have not, you surely must visit Colorado’s Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve located near historic Alamosa. Remember to plan accordingly, the dunes are massive and hard to judge… both in the time it takes to hike around and how quickly the weather can dramatically change. Also understand, this place is hard, and I mean really hard on your gear. Be super careful when shooting; I’d even suggest taking an older camera and lens the first time you visit… you just won’t believe how the sand gets everywhere despite your best efforts!
