OK, Go!! (ie, watch it, now)

OK Go have made the best music video of all time.
This all started because of six treadmills moving in alternating directions. But now OK Go has topped all its viral videos by choreographing a zero-gravity dance on a vomit-comet airplane. We have been teasing OK Go's brand new music video for "Upside Down & Inside Out" for a week, and now the time has finally come, and the beloved band of rock musicians/audio-visual gurus has released the video. In short, it is insane. Not even the teasers, whic...

As both a Star Wars fan, and a musician (well, vocalist), I love this.

An elegant weapon meets an elegant instrument.
We already knew that the lightsaber was an elegant weapon for a more civilized age, but it turns out it can also be used to make beautiful music on a most elegant instrument when deftly handled by a Jedi Master violinist. Jeffrey Ding He has put together this wonderful cover of Star Wars' iconic "The Force Theme," playing multiple parts with his violin, and using lightsabers to do it. I suppose they might not be real lightsabers, but anyone who c...

Finally, a galaxy of our very own!
Once you get a look at the incredible space glass creations of Satoshi Tomizu you're going to be asking yourself why you don't already have one and how long are you going to have to wait to hang one of these delights around your neck. Remember Orion in Men In Black? Take a second. I'll let you remember. Orion probably wasn't the first being to wear a galaxy around his neck, but his bauble is the only hanging galaxy that I've seen that compare to...

Who's coming with us, Star Wars fans? http://nerdi.st/1RS7BfW
A long time ago, in a galaxy not so far away, three films—three seminal, game-changing, universe-creating, world-defining films—were released into the world, effectively creating an entire pinnacle of our culture. And now, those very films will be re-released into theaters once more. Grab your nearest BARC speeder and position its destination to your nearest Alamo Drafthouse theater, because that's where "The Return of the Trilogy" roadshow scree...

Right. Next UK trip Manchester is on the list...
As reported by the Manchester Evening News, the bar at an exhibition centre in Trafford Park forms part of the For The Love Of The Force convention. Named the Cantina bar, the space will serve blue “bantha milk” cocktails, which Luke Skywalker first drinks in Star Wars Episode IV.

If you stare at a fire tornado long enough you can see who will sit the Iron Throne.
Fire tornado. Fire tornado! FIRE TORNADO! Sorry, it’s just really fun to say, “Fire tornado.” Yes, a fire tornado is a real (and rare) natural event, but fortunately the one we’re talking about today was far less destructive. This controlled, man-made twister was part of an elaborate, highly scientific study to determine how awesome a fire tornado looks in super slow-motion. Put together by, of course, The Slow Mo Guys, this fire tornado was made...

This trend shouldn't be taken lightly. #science
When it comes to augmenting the human body, we've seen some serious sh—. Last time we checked in with biohackers, the team at Science for the Masses was turning a crew member into Riddick using chlorophyl eyedrops. But like any other creative industry, biohacking is ever-changing—and the latest trend is alight with science fiction implications. In collaboration with Dusseldorf's Cyborg Fair, the biohackers at Grindhouse Wetware have unveiled thei...
