Introduction

There must be a form of education that helps us to make the 'unconscious' 'conscious' so as to live life with dignity, respect and kindness. Without that living life is a torture and source of continual pain.

Nemetics is pro-life. It focuses on 'Cognition'. Cognition can be of various types. For example, it can be cognition of a phenomenon. It can be cognition of what is happening right in front of us. It can be a cognition of our emotions and feelings. It can be a cognition of what we have stored or hidden or rejected in our sub-consciousness. 

Our behavior is influenced both by our consciousness (what we are aware of ) and what we are not aware of (hidden in our sub-consciousness). The two together make up our 'collective consciousness'. It is this "collective consciousness" that drives our "behavior", which in turn drives our 'fate'.

Fortunately there seems to be a way out of this mire. By being respectful to ourselves and focusing our awareness to link our consciousness to our subconsciousness we can indeed change our behavior, fate and our lives.

In other words, absence of this basic link creates all our pains, sufferings and ill fate.

So, through the simple process of being attentive we can enhance our quality of life and living. And this is a 24x7 affair. More so, because our situations and circumstances in life are always changing. Nothing is permanent. Since nothing is permanent our responses can be fixed or self repeating. It must change as per the changing situations.

This is the creative way of living or a 'spiritual way of living'. It encompasses our physical, mental, materialistic and spiritual worlds in a holistic manner since all of these are interdependent on each other.

However, our efforts to improve our quality of living are more turned towards our inner development. Why? Since whatever is within would get reflected outside. Or in other words, the outside world is in sync with our inner world. One changes the other. But we have more control on our inner world than we have on our outer world. Therefore, working hard to change our inner world automatically changes our outer world. It is important to remember that there is no common outer world or common inner world for anyone. Everyone has his/her own world to live and play.

The more joyous one is in the inner world by transcending the false self identities we subconsciously create the more joyous one is in the outer world.

The keywords are a) Respect for self & others b) Responsibility c) Kindness d) Intention e) Will f) Love g) Consciousness 

All these words can be condensed into one word, i.e. "Attention".

Paying attention is the aim of Nemetics.

Initially what appears to be very hard work turns into effortless effort.
