For #independenceday here is montage of a group of adventurers that were tracing the steps of the first coast-to-coast highway in the USA ( the Lincoln Highway ). I caught up with them as they passed through northern California.
We've had a hot streak of weather here in CA for the last couple of weeks and I think it's starting to confuse the plants and insects that spring is near.
Here's one of the confused pollinators taking a rest on a stucco wall shot with my RX100 on Macro.

A special privilege of seeing an old 1915 Ford Racer and its' authentic looking driver and passenger from a recent Lincoln Highway Tour through northern California.
As I was commuting by train to work, I was checking email, etc... on my smartphone and then...I looked up and saw this!
The train was leaving the station and moving somewhere between 30 - 40 mph. I pulled out my RX100 and fired away through the window.
