We are 3-days away of Tuga IT 2017 to return to Lisbon! And you are still on time to register for this event. This year, in addition to organizing the integration track, I will also present 2 sessions, one focused on PowerApps and Microsoft Flows on SharePoint/Office365 track, and the second focused on Azure Enterprise Integration features: Logic Apps.

After the success of last year, Tuga IT 2017 is one week away from returning to Lisbon! From May 18th until the 20th, a variety of world class speakers (local and international) that will present a huge variety of “fresh” and “hot” topics about Microsoft Data Platform, SharePoint, Office 365, Enterprise Integration, Agile Methodologies, Open Source Technologies, Azure and much more. And this is only possible thank to the collaboration of all of the 9 communities taking part in Tuga IT 2017 event organizers or track owners.

Once again, I was invited to lead the Integration track and yes, we will once again have again a dedicated Enterprise Integration track! The integration track on Saturday the 20th will be packed with amazing sessions by Azure MVP’s Nino Crudele, Steef-Jan Wiggers, Eldert Grootenboer, Tomasso Groenendijk, myself and Ricardo Torre.

Recently, the product team released a first feature pack for BizTalk Server 2016 (only available for Enterprise and Developer edition) and I am trying all these features and at the same time trying to help a little Microsoft BizTalk team improving their documentation, special regarding to these new features that appear with BizTalk Server 2016 Feature Pack 1. In this post, we will address the new Analytics feature of BizTalk Server 2016 associated with BizTalk operational data: Leverage operational data – View BizTalk operational data from anywhere and with any device using Power BI.

BizTalk Server 2016 will use feature pack approach to providing new functionalities to the product at a faster pace. Now new features (or at least non-breaking features) will be delivered when they’re ready we no longer need to wait 2 years for the next major release of the product to have new features!
