Seeing as I haven't even turned my Xbox ON in about 4 months, I've got way better things to do with $500. Sorry Micro$oft. #gooutside

Ingress does kind of cut into XBox time, doesn't it? ;)

Is anyone else kind of surprised that Google doesn't have some sort of memorial doodle up today? #rememberthechallenger

Just an observation, but it really seems that linking things into a field is more of a punishment than an accomplishment... True, it's points for your team, however shortlived they may be... but once you've thrown the link up, especially on something big, it's next to impossible to protect (especially if you have a job! lol), and immediately becomes a target for the opposing team. Even as a higher level player, I notice that it takes just a few low level players working as a team to eat right through any sort of "defenses" that have been set up. I remember seeing documentation a while back as to the possibility of "portal turrets" which sounded really cool, but what makes more sense to me, and would also I think slow down the rapid progression of the game a little, would be to make things that link actually SHARE strength. Therefore, the more you add to a web of links and fields, the stronger they become. It would give a little more of a reward for coordinating projects, and would also force more teamwork and cooperation in taking and protecting territory. Attached is a screenshot of a field that my good friend and I put together, 2 agents, several hours of driving, a month or so of waiting for links to decay and gathering keys, resulted it 594,865MU.... for all of 10 min. I'm not suggesting a direct scale (L6 + L6 = L12), but a bit more reinforcement than less than a handful of bursters... I think that the networks and spiderwebs of links that would result would really add to the gameplay! I think this would also help with the biggest issues I hear in the game. I know in Jacksonville, we have probably 15+ L8 players between the two factions, and people coming into the game on new invites are overwhelmed "I just can't DO anything" and leave the game after maybe a week. If they could collaborate on say, an L3 portal, connected to a few larger portals, and have it STICK for more than a night, I'll bet they'd be more apt to stick around. Just my two cents.

I've got some pretty good stop motion ideas (including a Harlem Shake video) but I just don't have the time... especially at work lol. One quick picture a day is almost too much.

Ok, so I noticed this the other day while driving past, and I can't get the nagging thought out of my head... Florida Hospital and Niantic must be in cahoots... perhaps Florida Hospital is continuing testing for Niantic in wake of the events at Niantic Labs? I mean... the signs are all there... futuristic building, and the logo... look at the similarities! I think I'm on to something... more info as it comes available, please send backup, could definitely use some more invites to bring more agents in for research. Agent out.

Thanks to everyone who logged in and hung out while I was DJing. It was a lot of fun! Going to see what can do about getting a better low-light web cam tho.
